This utility is used to fix data errors found during Check Data Integrity. In addition, you will need the SQL script specific to the problem found, the version of Windows and MIP that you are running.
Using the MIPQry.exe Utility

MipQry.exe is a generic utility that allows you to execute MIP-encrypted SQL scripts against your organization database. MipQry.exe will NOT execute a script that has not been encrypted by MIP. This ensures that only scripts thoroughly tested by MIP are made available to you.
General Instructions
(If you have already downloaded MIPQry.exe, please skip to point 4. below.)
- Download MIPQry.zip. Click here to download.
- Extract the contents of MIPQry.zip (MipQry.exe and NpsUSqlDMO.dll) into the MIPQry folder on C: drive (C:\MIPQry) on your workstation. If this directory does not exist, please create it.
- For Download and Unzip Instructions please see the "Related Articles" section on the right hand side of this screen and click on the "Download and Unzip Instructions" article.
- Instruct all other users to exit the software.
- Using the Administration program, back up the database that needs to be modified.
- Exit the Administration program so that no users (not even you) are using the program.
- Using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\MIPQry.

- Execute MIPQry.exe by double clicking on the MIPQry Icon.
- Select your organization database.

- Browse to and select the MIP provided SQL script.

- Click <OK> to execute the MIPQry process.

- Acknowledge the warning message by clicking <Yes>.
- Click <OK> to continue the process after MIPQry decrypts the SQL script.

- Click <OK> after MIPQry has successfully executed the SQL Script.

- Click <Exit> to exit MIPQry.

Once processing of MipQry is complete, you may get back into the program.

This utility may make modifications to your database. We strongly recommend that you back up your database before proceeding. After the utility has finished, please verify that you are satisfied with the results. If you are not, then restore from backup.
