Brief Description of issue:
Allocation Indirect Cost rate is calculating the wrong amount for the first fund

Detailed Description of Issue: 

- Symptom: When using an indirect cost rate allocation, the largest fund with values, is calculating at a rate different from the stated rate in the allocation code setup.

- Conditions: Using the ICR cost rate and the largest fund that has values.

- Supplemental: Workaround:  Please see directions below for running workstation update 7.1.3.

READ ME FIRST:

The 7.1.3 Workstation Update should be installed ONLY on existing v7.1 Sage MIP Fund Accounting Workstations.

• You MUST install the Workstation Update on each individual workstation.
  
• You MUST install the Workstation Update on the Server if you have a Workstation on that same machine.
  
• This update MUST be reinstalled if a Sage MIP Fund Accounting Workstation is uninstalled and reinstalled.

To Install the Workstation Update, perform the following steps:                                              

1. Click here to download the Sage MIP Fund Accounting Workstation Update 7.1.3 or download the zipped attachment from the related articles section on the right side of the screen.

2. When the “File Download” window opens, choose to Save. 

3. This process will require you to browse for a file location to save the file.  (We suggest that you save it to your Desktop, a floppy disk/CD, or a network drive.)

4. Verify that all Sage MIP Fund Accounting Applications are shut down before running Workstation Update.

5. Browse to the file that you have just downloaded and saved.  The name of the file that you are browsing for is: 

              “ 180632MIPWorkstationUpdate7.1.3.exe ”
or
“180632MIPWorkstationUpdate7.1.3.zip”

6.  If you downloaded the zipped copy then unzip the file, and double-click to execute. (For help with unzipping files, see Related Article #50157 in the right side frame.)

7. Browse to the downloaded file and double-click to execute.

8. A Welcome screen will come up.   After reading the notes, click Next.

9. The installation process will update appropriate tables.

10. Click Finish when the process has finished.

11. Go to your Sage MIP Fund Accounting Workstation Progs directory (The default location is C:\Program Files\MIP\Progs ) and verify the date of the new NPSKEng.dll file is 02/08/06

***IMPORTANT*** 

If the file is not dated 02/08/06 then you MUST do the following:

1.        Go to Start>Search>For Files or Folders

·          Search for these  separate files (individually)

·          NpsKEng.dll  2/8/2006

·          NpsGForm.dll 1/25/2006

·          NpsGSys.dll  1/25/2006

·          NpsGTE.dll  2/8/2006

·          NpsKRc.dll   12/14/2005

·          NpsKBase.dll  2/8/2006

·          NpsBRpWr.dll   2/8/2006

2. Make sure that file is located in your current Sage MIP Fund Accounting Workstation Progs directory.  (The default location is C:\Program Files\MIP\Progs )

3. If the file is NOT located in MIP\Progs then copy it and paste it there. 

When pasting you may receive a message asking you to overwrite the existing file, select “Yes”.
