Repairing Encumbrances Integrity
This article applies to: All Sage MIP Fund Accounting products, all versions
Purpose
The Encumbrance Rebuild script is designed to rebuild all Encumbrances balance records based upon existing Encumbrances/General Ledger detail records. It is also designed to calculate the Encumbrances subledger balances, beginning dates, and ending dates based upon existing Encumbrances/General Ledger detail records. It then replaces the existing values in the Encumbrances subledger document records with the calculated values. Finally, it will rebuild all Encumbrances subledger transaction records based upon existing Encumbrances/General Ledger detail records. This will generally repair integrity problems identified by the following Encumbrances integrity checks: 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, and 43.
